This is an upgrade service for your existing headphones. Mail in your Massdrop TH-X00 and Beyerdynamic headphones like the T1, T5p, t70, and t90 for service. If the existing cable is damaged that is not a problem.
Upgrading a headphone cable (as many audiophiles and headphone enthusiasts call a "recable") can make a notable difference in sound quality and improve the listening experience. In many cases this is because typical stock headphone wires (even on audiophile headphones) use thin gauge enameled low quality copper in cheap PVC dielectric. Replacing this low cost wire with a high quality cable can create a clean, high bandwidth link between your amplifier and your headphones.
The Xev entry-level cable is anything but, stunning sounding cable with a crisp, detailed presentation. Features a hand braided litz of silver clad copper in PTFE (Teflon) dielectric. The Xev by default comes with a flexible, non-microphonic Techflex soft black nylon multifilament sleeving, and each connection is lovingly terminated with Cardas silver-content solder.
